Tamworth technology business launches new software modules

A Tamworth-based specialist developer and supplier of intelligent software to the warehouse, logistics and distribution industries has launched new innovative software and secured prestigious new contracts with support from the Birmingham office of Midlands’ accountants and business advisory firm Smith Cooper.

Established in 1984 at their Tamworth based office, Traderman has an expanding portfolio of clients including Marks & Spencer, Carpetright and DHL, and recently implemented tmWare for Wednesbury based furniture home delivery company Furdeco. 

Following specialist research and development tax relief support and business guidance from Smith Cooper, Traderman has launched new modules to complement its existing software suite (tmWare) which includes a facility for drivers to send a text to the tmWare system to report a successful or failed delivery.  This enables the logistics operations to provide live tracking updates to customers about the status of their delivery, without having to invest in expensive in-cab hardware.

tmWare is a web-based system hosted remotely from servers in large data centres, and provides full end-to-end tracking from receipt of goods into a warehouse, through order processing, picking and planning, to delivery and signature capture.

By continuing to work closely with Smith Cooper to facilitate its expansion strategy, the business plans to secure further new contracts and identify growth opportunities with a wider international client base over the coming 12 months.
